SouthBay Engagement Photographer; Lisa and Matt

southaby_engagement_photographer-1I have mentioned in the past that whenever friends and family

ask to get in front of my camera, my nerves are higher than usual.

I’m settled and comfortable with my craft, confident even…

But having the people I love and care about asking me to document their most precious moments in their lives …

It’s always an honor.

Lisa and Matt are getting married in April of 2017.

They wanted their engagement session to be easy,

reflecting their personalities and their love.

I suggested staying local since their wedding festivities will be here in the SouthBay.

Torrance Beach and Madrona Marsh were our picks… and I think, they were the perfect backdrops for this spring couple!

Lesly + Sam ; Venice Beach Engagement Session

What can I say about these two?

Sweet, down to earth, fun!

We started this engagement session with shots of tequila and margaritas ūüėČ

Lesly and Sam were so much fun to photograph… as you can see, it was hard

choosing which images to share.

I can’t wait for their August wedding.

Heder and Chris, Wedding

It was a beautiful, spring day in March.

The sky was a perfect shade of blue and the sun was warm and welcoming.

Everything was to fall in line for this bride and groom who planned carefully for this day.

This day that they waited a long time for…

We started off at the iconic Normadie Hotel where Chris and the guys dressed.

Sipping champagne, pandora was delivering the best music in this moment…

¬†She finished her makeup and had one last ‘ hooray’ shot before she’d slip her dress on and make her way to the Carondelet House where they would say “I do” and celebrate the occasion.

Heder and Chris paid special attention to every detail to ensure it was a perfect reflection of their love and their story. The Carondelet House was a perfect location to capture their vision and make it come to life.

Caroline Cha and her team with Serenity Events  were flawless, ensuring each part of this day happened perfectly. Rustic tables draped with roses, candles, and crystals.

Roses that hung from above with brick draped in the backdrop… it was an amazing setup.¬†blog-27blog-212016-04-02_0010blog-242016-04-02_0011blog-26

These two made a beautiful bride and groom.

Their ceremony was simple, yet heartfelt and emotional.

And their reception was just as amazing.

Congratulations to these two… may your life be abundant in health, love and love and love. xoxo

Kena + Billy, Wedding

I met Kena and Billy through another fabulous couple whose wedding we documented last year.

I knew that their wedding would be amazing and I was so excited to work with them.

What I didn’t know was how emotional their day would be.

The love these two have for each other, the love their friends and family have for them…

We throughly enjoyed each moment.
